I’m 5’9" with a moderate build and needed a mat that could support both my yin/restorative practice and my Pilates work — and this mat has been amazing. The extra width makes such a difference for comfort and stability, and the cushioning has been a lifesaver for my knees. I usually struggle with pressure on my joints, but this mat actually lets me relax into poses without pain.
It does have a noticeable rubber smell at first, but it didn’t bother me and has been fading. The grip is great, the support is solid, and it feels really grounding during slower practices. For anyone who wants something plush, supportive, and roomy, this mat is absolutely worth it.

5 stars for grippiness - 4 stars for grippiness when wet - the smell is still there a week later - but it doesnt bother me - Kind of smells like a new pair of expensive shoes - it definitely makes me feel more safe during my daily yoga practice - again - 5 stars
