Wonderfully thick - very supportive for sensitive knees

Wonderfully thick - very supportive for sensitive knees. I’ve never had a mat with better grip. It’s been about a week and a half and I am still waiting for the rubber odor to dissipate but it is getting lighter with time. Great mat! Please note it’s quite a bit heavier than your typical mat given that it is made of rubber.

Thicker but firm

I purchased this mat based on my yoga teacher's recommendation and online reviews. My 'older' knees were getting grumpy with my thinner cork mat, but I don't like moving pads around during class. It worried me to get the thicker mat, as often they are soft and squishy. Less than optimal for standing balance positions. I was pleasantly surprised that the mat offers enough padding for my knees, plus it is firm enough for balancing. It is also 'sticky', for the lack of a better word, preventing slippage of one's hands or feet during class.

Great mat super comfy

Love my new mat. It’s a big step up from the thinner model that I had before. Note that it is considerably heavier so if you walk and need to carry it, consider you’ll need a bigger bag due to its thickness and it does get heavy.
