*Made in Spain, the surface of the Jade Cork mat is harvested sustainably from cork trees in Portugal. Trees are not cut down, but after the tree is 25 years old, the bark of the tree is removed. This is repeated every 9 years, with the bark regenerating in the interim - absorbing additional CO2 during this process.
*To Clean: Cork mats can be washed with soap and water then rinsed with water. Hang inside to dry. Store rolled with cork side out.

So far this mat has been great, I was reluctant to belive it would actually be anti-slip when wet becuase I sweat a lot but it stays true to its claim. I have taken this to several different hot yoga and HIIT classes and its performend execeptionally.
The product listing states domestic manufacture (USA) but the product packaging claims manufacture in Spain. Domestic production was one of my primary considerations in this purchase. Disappointed, but not worth the hassle to return.
Jade will always be my favorite brand of yoga mats for hot yoga !
I love this mat! Beautiful, perfect mix of soft and sturdy, and works great even when doused in sweat and stays in place with a lot of movement.
Haven’t tried it for hot yoga yet, but I like it! Good thickness, nicely sticky, comfy. Also looks very nice
